You are welcome, hopefully you will be happy with yours, I like the fact that it is so comfortable to use partly due to light weight maybe. Arther
Let me give you this bit of advice......get to use one before you buy it. I purchased one on the basis others were raving about them.Well i was looking at either a Speedglas or a Sealey.
I was only looking at speedglas because i know they are good, however very expensive. For the price of a second hand one, i can get a new Sealey.
What is the consensus here?
i will be using it to weld up the sills on my car. Maybe some other bits in the future.
I used mine today to set up the R-Tech, I am very, very pleased with it.
Shade 10 seems best for me, It's light, comfortable and pleasingly small with a decent head frame and plenty of adjustment for my pin sized head, the lock up is positive with just a nod to drop it down ready to work, the view is sharp and big enough to be good, the 100mm one of the Parweld would be even better though, not tried the grind shade yet nor any work that may obscure both the sensors so wait out on that.
CE mark is embossed on the inside of the mask and printed on the LCD unit, it has a test button, low battery warning, replaceable batteries as well as the usual sensitivity and delay adjustment and comes from a UK distributor if any problems develop within the warranty period.
Overall. for 20 quid it's a winner!
Glad you are pleased with it. If you are comfortable and it works properly great .a victory. ArtherI used mine today to set up the R-Tech, I am very, very pleased with it.
