Looking to get this into gcode

If you send me the dxf file I will convert it to G code for you and send it back ?
Or get fast cam ?
I also have a tracing table to convert objects to dxf ( logic trace ) but this takes time cleaning it up after !!

That's my experience.
I tried scanning then live trace in illustrator to make a vector; then I spent longer tidying the
vector up than I would have spent drawing it from scratch.

There used to be an application called Scan2CAD that was supposed to do it; I fiddled with it like some demented Roman emperor on bonfire night and never once got a usable image out of it. As you say, it was quicker to plant an acorn, wait for it to grow into a mighty oak, fell it, season it, whittle a 6" rule from it and take measurements for a fresh drawing.
