I had a look/try at the machine. On a side note, this thing is huge!
We couldn't get it to work. Some strange issues.
First, contrary to what I was told before, the torch with the coolant tubes was connected.
But we immediately got E05 error. Adding coolant didn't help. Disconnecting the red tube showed that the pump still functions.
To rule out the torch as possible cause we put a loop between the red and blue connections. Still E05 error.
Wanting to test the machine we tried turning off the water cooling. However, there was no such setting under the extras menu. Contrary towhat the manual says, the setting was missing. Settings under extras were machine data, diagnostics, language, display contrast, modus automatic, second current button, lock functions, <here should be cooling system mode>, synchronous welding, pulse edges.
I spoke with 3 Lorch people over the phone. They were all convinced the setting should've been there. Is this because of an old firmware? An old version of this model?
