lost my volvo radio code

yes with the volvo one zardoz if you can get the radio out use the diodes to calculate the code by clicking on volvo once inputed it should give you your code but if you cart remove the unit well im not sure my freind ian

a lot of the volvo codes are set by a series of diodes inside the radio

Have a look at the Volvo forum there's a bloke on there that works at a dealership and will email the code to you

they don't print them on the radio, its an anti theft device which would be pretty useless if the code was there for all to use

(in the 90s car radios were a seriously stolen item...died out in the 00s, mainly due to a massive drop in car stereo prices and manufacturers fitting proprietary designs which often were mated to the car itself)

Indeed they were... a popular myth at the time was that if you put your stolen stereo in a freezer for long enough the code would magically reset itself to 0000
Maybe if you used liquid nitrogen it might...
