For the last 10 years I have run an electric fan oven on a 13amp plug, through a cheap extension cord which also served a fridge / freezer. Only blew the fuse twice despite usually turning to full power from cold start.
I imagine heating the oven to 250 or so, then turning down to 200 when the door has been opened /shut will help to compensate for heat loss during loading. A cheap infrared thermometer could be useful to help avoid initial overheating.
I have no experience with alloy wheels but I've done plenty of them pastry ones!
