At first glance that looked a bit like an open coffinI did get some a few years ago from Travis Perkins, specially ordered in. Like the stuff I remember. Heavy with the individual plys really dense / close grained. When I did the surround for my part sunken bath.
Avoid birch based ply for anything outside, it is one of the quickest decaying woods.
If it helps, I have a slab of chainsaw cut leylandii, which is a very slow decaying wood. With sealer and kept of the ground it would last ages outside.
Interesting fact - treated wood is often the worst types for outside use, as its cheaper, the process hides what it is.
