Got one of those already. The idea is to slow thieves down as much as possible rather than a definite stop

Seemingly it’s illegal in the uk to fit a device like these into the brake circuit, it was my first thought !

Its also illegal to steal, but doesnt stop it!

My understanding from putting two trikes through Sva tests was that devices in the brake circuits such as bias valves must be locked, not adjustable when vehicle in use.

Do automatics not have locking brakes when its in park...so a key switch is no different to me

While im doing my rebuild im looking at developing an all mechanical bar some solinoid Valves hydraulic mild hybrid system for mine. Using the pto cover on the transfer case. I have been concidering incoperating a hyrdaulic transmission lock in the design so when engaged you wont be able to move the back wheels (series 3 so 2 wheel drive normal).

This is the gizmo in the landrover cherry picker, its a dual lock, both circuits are locked when the picker is in operation. Its just piped in line.

I used to have one of these on my Defender to lock the transfer box in neutral, wouldn't stop it being towed away though

I’d rather it slowed them enough for me to either chase them off or send the dog in!

Very true but they're probably going to leave it if they can't drive it or tow it away. If you could lock all 4 wheels using a (well hidden) device like bob has the only other option would be dragging or lifting it onto a flat bed.

I don't like saying it but most anti theft protection is more about persuading the scum bags to go away and try nicking something easier to take.
