That is the same hinge I linked. I already had that page open in my browser (edit: didn't mean that to sound snarky, just saying)

Single hinge mate. Make sure to go for the complete hinge/plate/cover

I had selected the bundle option before linking the page but hadn't realised it dropped back to the bare hinge option

The doors will likely be 18 or 22mm thick, on the off chance they are thicker the only change would be a specific variant of the hinge for thicker doors.

They might be thinner at 15mm but it's unlikely as it doesn't give a great deal of leeway or material for hinge cup drilling (usually 12mm ish plus the pilot pip)

Here's where you inform us they are a completely random thickness.

Carcass thickness is largely irrelevant if they are inset as the only reference is the inner face, it could be a 300mm thick and it wouldn't change the position of the door.

I don't see how you can suggest any aspect of the structure is "irrelevant" without even having a gross overview of the layout.

Once we can see a picture, it will become a really obvious, simple solution. Until then it remains one of any number of obvious simple solutions.

I say that as a total amateur of course and I bow to the opinion of those who do this a lot or for a living. What I discovered is that like most things, it is simple when you know how but without an overview or wider knowledge of the subject (i.e. all the unknown unknowns) it can be a minefield.

Simple plain "box" carcass and plain inset door, easy. Framed carcass, picture frame door, not so easy. Plus of course it might need to have a very specific operating angle or it might bang into other parts of the installation or not even open up sufficiently for ease of access.

Because when a cabinet door is inset (as opposed to full or half overlay) then the only reference for clearance of the doors hinge edge is the Inside face on which the cruciform plate is mounted.

Overlay would be a completely different story because the amount by which the edge of the door projects past the inner face of the carcass is critical.

Based on the images and measurements now provided the original hinges were incorrect for application anyway, they should have used thick door hinges (unless the packer is actually a repair plate)

So yeah, I guess it is a "standard" installation!
