The Crabtree pull cords are ok but the MK ones for me.
I've had one or two fail but still MK ones for me, each to their own.I've had couple of MK pullcords, one lasted a couple of years the other about 3 years so I've switched to Crabtree now.
Kind of what I think, didn't stop someone else from asking same as @reb78.why would you want to
Things may have changed, you might be lucky but I can't find any, where you can turn USB sockets off.
The electronics are still powered though, unless you switch off the whole circuit.Simpler I think to pull out whatever the USB device is if concerned.
I saw a reference somewhere to modules or sockets where the USB socket is only powered up when a USB connector is plugged in.
How would each port be isolated which I think is what @reb78 was after? If you wanted this functionality, put a switched, fused isolator before the double socket and isolate the entire socket using it.
Alternatively, one of these in a twin (not double) backbox, with isolator in the second position:

To stop the electric leaking out, if the socket is empty.why would you want to
The latter is the same as the former---I think. His question was thus: "Do any of the recommended brands make a double plug with USBs where you can turn the USB sockets off?"
He did not ask to turn each port off on an individual basis.
Does he have to remove footwear to count above 10.....To stop the electric leaking out, if the socket is empty.
Or so my daughters electrician apprentice boyfriend told me a year or so ago. And he meant it, in earnest.
No, he has 6 fingers on each hand. He could have been an extra in The Hills Have Eyes.Does he have to remove footwear to count above 10.....
He’s a Burnley lad then. No, he has 6 fingers on each hand.
