The Crabtree pull cords are ok but the MK ones for me.
I've had couple of MK pullcords, one lasted a couple of years the other about 3 years so I've switched to Crabtree now.
I've had one or two fail but still MK ones for me, each to their own.
Kind of what I think, didn't stop someone else from asking same as @reb78.why would you want to
Simpler I think to pull out whatever the USB device is if concerned.

If you wanted this functionality, put a switched, fused isolator before the double socket and isolate the entire socket using it.
Alternatively, one of these in a twin (not double) backbox, with isolator in the second position:

The electronics are still powered though, unless you switch off the whole circuit.
I saw a reference somewhere to modules or sockets where the USB socket is only powered up when a USB connector is plugged in.

You'd need to look at how physically that is done.
Unless there is a mechanical microswitch that the USB connector pushes agianst when it is inserted, the detection will be electronic and still require some of the USB-related gubbins to have juice.

He did not ask to turn each port off on an individual basis.
So, each one individually, no. But all of them in one outlet switch-off-or-on-able, yes. That is better than anything currently possible, where the only way to switch off the USB ports is to pull the breaker and anything else on that same breaker goes off.
Incoming supply to isolator adjacent (or single pole lightswitch would be more than adequate). Output of isolator/light switch to input of USB panel. Entire USB panel on or entire panel off.
For one-by-one control, you could also use a single modular USB outlet and feed it from a single modular switch:
