The engine may be running next week, and then again it may not be! I am not aiming for a show winning restoration, the "original" red leather will be going back in with just a recolour, some is actually original and some was sourced used in the 70's, new, better carpets will be ordered, I am unsure about the dash as it has a crinkle black finish that is it seems not correct, maybe someone changed it early on due to glare from the body colour (OE White) facia, on balance I will probably leave it black,

Air filters again! having come up with a pair of Hillman Hunter air filters, the same as I fitted inside the original cases back in the 70's a mate has given me a pair of UNIPART GFE 2019 air filters and they fit like a glove, no need to squash them down 10mm, but I was wondering if anyone can cross reference them as a mate with another MGA would like to find some!

GFE 2019 but also has K1094, could be old stock as there is a sticker on one box offering a swatch watch for £8.99 inc. P&P send a cheque before 29th February 1984.................

Jackpot, as the first set of filters were in for 50 years I may not need to replace these but if I do at least I know what to look for!

Blasted the front chassis extension today, needs some welding and anti roll bar mounts added, I am fitting an MGA special equipment anti roll bar, or an early MGB one, one is £500.00, the other was £15.00, guess what one I bought! and they are the same dimensions......
