Micro arc welder

I have the Static Arc 200A. There was 10% discount buying direct, so £66 all in. I have no idea if it hits 200A as I've used 2mm and 2.5mm rods and only had a brief play with 3.2.

It came with 25sq.mm welding leads. Mains lead is 2.5sq.mm with moulded on 13A plug, and a 16A commando plug included loose.

I chose the 200A model rather than 140A because the price difference was so small, and I thought it should have a better duty cycle.

I have one of these as well. Bought it as a throw away item I could chuck about and abuse as it's so cheap. It runs 2.5mm 6013 really well at 70 - 80 amps. I did briefly try some 3.2 rods at 120 amps and that was fine too. I don't have any 4mm rods to try and it'd probably trip the breaker at 150+ amps. I have to say that for the money I'm pretty happy.

i was going to get one of them as i have the ac/dc tig and the 180 mig but with the vat and postage it is 3x more than the draper to my door
