9lb is phenomenal. I have done WW and SW before. They both work if you stick to them long term - that's the hard bit. Consistency is the key and realising that it doesn't always come off straight away and not giving up in frustration. You might have a strict week and stay the same. I find I do well to start with then the losses plateau and I find it hard to keep going.OK so I started my Weight Watchers app on Monday. So I am essentially 6 days in and in this first week I have weighed myself again on our digital scales and I have lost 9ib!
Bar Steward. Or are you only 4 foot 6 ?Iam normally 10 stone and over Xmas with all the food and drink and sitting around iam now 11 stone but by the end of January I will be back at 10 stone without any exercise or dieting. It's just the weight I seem to stay at. In fact I've been 10 stone since I was 18 and iam now 59.
its better to eat very small amounts over the day and fruit and a breakfast 50g (its supprising how small this is)I can't get on outside, and earlier I was looking in the cupboards for any overlooked mince pies, chocolates, or crisps.
I never seem able to lose any weight, despite not drinking or smoking, and not eating during the day. I don't eat any more than SWMBO, yet she still manages to stay under eight stone.
5ft 7" so not tall but still on the slim side.Bar Steward. Or are you only 4 foot 6 ?
Bu**er off. Go and buy your own !Mines dropped again, 88.5 this morning. I had a bad couple of weeks before new year and had no appetite whatsoever. Now I am guzzling to put some back on. So, any spare pizzas, steaks, kebabs, you guys don’t want, you can gift them to me.
If your on the chubby side, potato and similar carbs have no benefit to you apart from the taste.

festive food has a lot to answer for ..True, but I have a long way to go through the Jacobs "Festive Collection" cracker boxes as they were down to 45p when I was in Sainsburys. Fortunately they all have long use-by dates on them, and I just have a bit of butter / spread on them rather than loading up with jam / cheese / whatever.
