just brought the euro conversion kit
welder was working earlier today
I removed the old torch then wired up the new 2 wires from the new torch to one wire from the welder no joy so I wired the old one up not working either seems the be no power going to the pcb board geting power to machine itself helppppp

post some pics of the connections, did the old torch have 2 wires plus the main welding supply cable?

the old one had one wire had
the new one 2 wires its the parweld conversion kit but you would think the old torch would work

connect 1 wire to the original thin wire and the other to the main welding supply connection and it should work

on the euro socket there will be, from your description 3 connections 2 from the switch and 1 thick positive cable, connect one to the thick cable and the other to where the original thin cable connected

what have you connected the thick wire in the machine to, it should be connected to the brass part

no 2 blue wires the black ones the gas pipe was told by the supplier to conect both blue wires to the one on the machine

on the original torch there was only 1 thin wire and 1 thick, in the original torch when you pull the trigger it connects the thin wire to the thick wire, on the new torch the switch is totally independant hence it has 2 wires so 1 has to connect to the thick wire connecting to the euro socket and the remaining wire to the thin white wire you have shown

you are missing the point here there has to be a heavy cable to supply the welding current to the torch, post a picture of the the part the torch comes through and the wire feed

yeah thats the one, needs connecting to the socket

ok I will need to get a longer lead still cant work out why the old torch has stopped working just tried again should work as the cables aways been on the back of the wire feed
