You'll have to creep it away from the wall. Looks great
A few jobs, sort a front cover out for the horizontal, this will save you a load off hassle.
Grub screws (if you haven't got any I think i have spares!)for the 4 attachement mounting holes, although I use the bottom 2 to hold a sheet over the back to the bed to attempt to keep the worst of the ways
Not sure what the floors like, but i ended up putting mine on levelling feet
If you intend to run coolant really think about an internal tank
No promises but I will try and draw out and photograph the stops at some stage this week, they have a slope to gradually disengage the feed.

Thanks luckily its mostly cosmetic stuff, mechanically its pretty decent though I've got a few bits ill have to make (the table feed handle is missing and the table feed drive stops aren't there either).

I hadn't intended to tart it up, but it was so bad I really couldn't leave it (oil/grease points painted over and paint everywhere it shouldn't be)- I'm really glad I've taken the effort now even though its taken a while...

Yea its such a nice mill it deserved a bit of love before battle commences

Yeah, the picture perspective makes it look worse then it is, but it needs to come forward about a foot ideally.

Good shout about the cover and grub screws - I may have some that size, will need to check but I need to order a few of different sizes anyway as I have bolts missing from a couple of places. (Knee raise casting is missing 1, table feed gear cover etc)

The floor is OK (It's a new garage) but the machine base isn't level so needs some packing on one side before I bolt it down. I like the idea of adjusters but my issue is lifting it as I don't have an engine crane or hoist.

any details of the control panel? what is it? how did you wire it?.......looking good

Here is one of the Bed stops. If you know anyone thats good with cad ? These could easily be 3d printed and cast (I know someone who can do both those bits !!)
