you want to look out for a Murphy van some have a built in compressor and generator when i worked for HiQ we had a transit with built in compressor that ran from the van engine it split the propshaft to the rear wheels to make a PTO

downside genny is 110V but a inverter should sort that
think from memory that can be run on red diesel classed as fixed plant
looks like it has it's own fuel system anyway

If its separate plant with separate tank than yes you can. You could just run a 110v site transformer in reverse to give you 230V or get 110V tools!

separte engine compressors you can run off red but TBH i never botherd. i plumed it into the vans tank as i never used the compressor that much quantity of diesel i would have used vr's hasstel of haveing to go get red specificly not worth it.

and filling your van with red at the garage gets you reported so the minestry anpr you and hasstel you while dipping tank
