More flowers

I got the mountings sorted out today.
This stage is a right pain sometimes but went well this time the first attempt ended with it falling over and clouting me. Some vicious fly press action sorted that one out. the stem is 20mm solid bar the rest of it is 30x5mm strip, bolts onto the flower and the whole mount comes apart for transport.

Is there a market for a Chunkular Brolly?

What are you going to do with the tips of the petals, or how are they to be finished. I only asked as you mentioned memorial to a head teacher, so I am thinking School flower beds, little darlings getting up close. So assume they can not be left as points?

The ends are gently rounded off, all the edges are 'finger tested'. I get a small child and run their fingers around all edges and corners to see if they are sharp enough to cut them. I have found that things that look sharp and spiky get given respect.
They are being mounted on plinths in the middle of flower beds. This was all discussed at the planning stage.
lets be realistic, if little Charlie gets disemboweled nobody is going to miss him.
