I had a look on Google Earth, I'm always interested in where people live. If you have a few minutes it is worth a look. I knew China was very big, but it is hard for me to imagine the scale of the place.
No streetview wonder why?

its the tower of century square
a lot of cities have squares like this, the one in Changchun where I am presently is massive. popular places for Kite flying which is popular over here.
I googled to see how far away Whenzou is - 2,500 km and thats a small distance over here.

Hi Seriesonewelder, when I looked on GE I only typed Zhejiang, then when I typed Whenzou, it zoomed back up to space and came down miles away. This is what I meant by the scale of the country. I suppose it works the other way too, when folks over in China see the UK on a map they must think we are all squashed up shoulder to shoulder.
