Bending the spanner, oxy/acet to heat it up then bend ??

Yes I did heat it up prior to bending it.
I figured being silverline it would probably bend by hand but best use heat.
I did tweak it once fitted to get the curve just right.
no nead for a blob of weld, I had planned to do that but it seems well settled, the thread were a bit on the 'tired' side already.
Welding it would have meant getting a mate to drive m,y welder 10 miles for a three second job.
