I stick a plastic chopping board under the rear wheel. Polypropylene is particularly slippery.

Hi, Years ago I got roped into helping a mate siteing a replacement static caravan for his grandfather. The delivery driver showed us how to do it, there wasn't room to manoeuvre properly. So he showed us with two sheets of hardboard with grease in between under the wheels and we just pushed it round sideways. It is surprisingly effective.

The Mk1a - the bracketry on the left was fouling the frame of the bikes, so smaller wheels were needed.
All a bit rough and ready, but it still works ok. I really notice the difference the smaller castors make - those 4" wheels were lovely.
Next version will be more suited to the conditions - probably 3" wheels or double-wheeled 2.5".

We skip the factory under runs on Iveco wagon's that would make perfect full length bike dollies. If there's a commercial vehicle body builders near you pop in and see if they'll let you have one they're worth nothing as scrap.

In fact, I can think of a few uses for those...
I don't think there's a commercial body builder anywhere near me, though.
Otoh, a nice length of Armco would do the job - and there's so much of it around, too...

No, the under run is the rear bumper. I don't think they meet the sva regulations because even if there isn't a tail lift they get changed for approved ones.
There mesh trollies which lorries bring stock in have better casters on them.
