Brilliant, I agree with the comments about over nipplising her.
That sort of thing can easily become tacky. (fnaaar fnaaarr)
Great use of materials and nicely made, easily saleable.
To get the form on the one I made I used a cheap mannequin from Fleabay. At least that is what I tell the police.

In actual fact I harvest them at night and oh it is awful the noise and fuss they make as I immortalise them. But some times you know how it is; I see just the right piece of material walking down the road and it just as to be harvested in the name of art.
After I have finished with them what is a boy to do? I cant get rid of the easily and I am putting on so much weight.
Would any of you like to model for me?

I think I have finaly found a supplier of stamped out slugs.
Been after a source for ages.
Look for them on fleabay. 35p each!" He can even make custom sizes for a bit more.

Wow 35 pence each! when I worked for G.E.C. one of my jobs was tipping about cubic metre of them into the skip that went to the scrap yard every day round ones and square ones ....jeff...

Gave it a bit of colour with the torch and waxed it.

just a candle bud, i've tried beeswax and other furniture waxes but i've not been able to tell any difference so I just use what ever comes to hand (what ever our lass won't miss) :-)

Never tried that, Do you just warm up the steel then rub the candle on it ? Then buff it up ?

Yes I usually get it hot enough that the wax smokes, smaller bits I do in the oven at about 220.
