Gas bottle forge, cut 2/3rds out around the diameter leaving the top and bottom intact, drill a hole in the back and insert a blower, cut a hole in the top for a chimney, line base with sand and fire up.

No. Here in the UK we have lots of old gas bottles lying around as many are discarded, de-gas it properly and they make excellent compact forges, a mains computer fan from a main server provides sufficient quantities of air and you have an instant forge.

The very vast majority of 'discarded' gas bottles are still owned by the issuing company and chopping them up is an offence.
