Id be inclined to agree, but two things spring to mind here.
You're bit young to be worrying about curling your toes up.
There is a very fine line in the brain between love and hate, thats is not always a clear line.

18” products rolling out like a production line
This one was advertised local to me a few months abck, @HughF and i went to see it. Being sold by a really, really nice guy, but he was pretty firm on the price, and it needed the top shaft making and re-setting, as someone had cut it down, and it wobled all over the place (relatively compared to what it should have done). He dropped the price a chunk in the end, and I did email him an offer, but someone turned up and paid what he wanted (£1500 iirc)
No point to this story, just thought it might be intesting.....

First time I’ve placed a mini wheel next to the 18”
Less machining operations on the 18” but the extra surface area and volume of material removal means it takes twice as long to make which is surprising
Actually every part takes twice as long except for the top wheel which takes 10 times longer

Not when you see what that will cost to turn into a workshop. Knackered asbestos roof,concrete cow stalls needing removed. Unless you can do everything yourself that is a money pit! Even if you can do it all yourself there is still a huge expense making that into somewhere you want to work on a cold January day!

Personally my anonymity is priceless, I like lambco being known but I’ve no interest in being on YouTube, tv or anything else for that matter.
That would really shoot the fox...

I’d estimate bearing races as being over 60rc the top wheel is 55rc

I’ve never quite got my head around hardness measurement there seems to be a lot of different scales it’s measured by but that sounds plenty hard enough…
