only if u didnt fill it with oil would be ok . there a bit pointless for ocasional use . cant u take it back and get just a filter regulator??Whats the deal with oilers/lubricators ?? I bought a filter-regulator from machine mart to use with the sandblaster. I assume you only need an oiler if your running air tools ? And if i did get one could it be used with the sandblaster connected ? Ta
blast it and 2k etch prime it . then coat with high temp paintWe've been having a play around with the compressor, sandblasting gear and spray guns and it all seems to be working nicely. I have a couple of old aluminium manifolds and rocker covers im wanting to blast and spray. We did a test on one with some high temp stuff from halfords and it turned out really nice but from what ive read aluminium is a pain to paint properly. Would i get away with using the high temp stuff straight onto a blasted surface (which looks pretty sweet to me) or will it inevitably turn into a mess once in use on an engine ?? Cheers
on an inlet manifold and rockerbox cover it willWill the primer withstand the high temps too ? Cheers
get the 2k acid etch it can be sprayed or hand painted on without brushmarks shop around or someone might know on here where u can obtain cheaply i did hear £15 ishwhat kind of etch primer do i need. There seem to be many conflicting views on which type to get? I need it in tins preferably to use with the spray gun. Does anyone know a good place to buy from ? Ta
