He was right in fairness to him. I'm the first to admit when I get it wrong. They don't come up that cheap too often as I do look.Actually, don't stop lol

I was just reading this thread.

Seems pretty cheap to build. I was looking for the thread above earlier before i made this post.
I only need the head looking at it. Do i just go for a WP17 head for now to keep me going and save/ build a cooler setup on the side over the coming months?
Exactly and if people are anything like me I usually need it last week.If you wait long enough anything can turn up at silly money, problem is none of us have the time to wait usually.
Your cooler looked more than capable of doing the biz to me.thats my cheap cooler, but Im only a hobbyist, as I've only used it for 2 to 3 hours since I built it. If you're welding up to 6 hours a day, I'd be looking at something of a more professional standard, like the ones Richard has built.

] What is it you are welding to be doing it that often?Afternoon Gents.
My WP17 has just died on my Eastwood Tig 200.
Im looking to upgrade the torch and possibly do Watercoolered (DIY)
I have a £100 to spend. Absolute Maximum!
If the recommendation is not a WP17, i need to factor in a Stubby Gas Lens in there as well.
If watercooling is out the question. a Decent Torch will have to suffice for a few months until i can afford to upgrade once again.
I weld 3mm aluminium 2-3 hours a day and Stainless 2-3 Hours a day
I know its a tall order, but you guys have a better idea of what i should be going for.

The only thing I find strange about your cooler optima is you have piped it up so that it draws the water from the tank through the exchanger.thats my cheap cooler, but Im only a hobbyist, as I've only used it for 2 to 3 hours since I built it. Can't see why that is an issue but I've always routed my return hose to feed the exchanger the warm water before it goes in the tank.
Not going watercooler then?Torches arrived today. I got a WP17 with Flexi head and a WP26. Without realising the WP26 uses a bigger hose..Doh!
But my god, why did no one tell me about flexi heads sooner?! So much easier.
