I'm a bit scared! Now all you need is a second mortgage on the house to fill it
you can also use it as a containment area just incase the tank splits if you seal the bottom 2 rows of panels and uprightsThats a good plan. Can do that in time in this corner.
New tank is bunded Gaz so I am not too worried about containment now.you can also use it as a containment area just incase the tank splits if you seal the bottom 2 rows of panels and uprights
dont try to use concrete or cement mix as it shrinks you would need something like a sealant or tar to seal to old concrete and the uprights but it can be sealed
I think I'm correct in saying :- The only weigh acting down on a single sq cm at the base will be the single sq cm in the sq cm column above it so say 120 cm x the weight of one cubic cm of fuel say 2 grams per cm ?I looked at the underside again. Its so concave that if it popped down the diameter at the base would have to pop out. I wonder how the inner tank is supported within the outer bund? I'm not taking it apart to find out though!
Cheaper in big bulk refills ???Why such a big tank?
Exactly. It feeds three boilers and we can get through it in winter meaning expensive fill ups. We had a 1000 litre tank before and would end up needing three top ups over the six expensive months.Cheaper in big bulk refills ???
3 boilers, do you have a monster gaff or holiday homes?Exactly. It feeds three boilers and we can get through it in winter meaning expensive fill ups. We had a 1000 litre tank before and would end up needing three top ups over the six expensive months.
I am at risk of missing the boat here but if i fill two weeks ago i would get the cheapest oil to last into spring. It could potentially be one (expensive) fill a year now.
The latter. If i get rich off of them i might join them up and have a monster gaff though3 boilers, do you have a monster gaff or holiday homes?
The ROI from my two is reasonable, but Im not getting rich. Though I do get peopled out sometimes. The latter. If i get rich off of them i might join them up and have a monster gaff though
But what about all the other 1cm cubed columns in the middle of the tank?I think I'm correct in saying :- The only weigh acting down on a single sq cm at the base will be the single sq cm in the sq cm column above it so say 120 cm x the weight of one cubic cm of fuel say 2 grams per cm ?
No. I know what you mean. These are a way to afford living here for a lot less than if we didnt have them. The ROI from my two is reasonable, but Im not getting rich. Though I do get peopled out sometimes.
Snap! No. I know what you mean. These are a way to afford living here for a lot less than if we didnt have them.
They act downwards on their same square cm surely ? I think there will be a slight increase in pressure outwards the lower you go down on the wall of the tank but being round it won't matter much .But what about all the other 1cm cubed columns in the middle of the tank?
