When I had my D2 ES, it had a Kenwood flip out screen single DIN unit and it worked via an adaptor into the HK amp

Have seen a few DD conversions on the D2BC forum but it's a faff

Don't do that! Use a DAB/FM splitter, far nicer.

Thanks Andy, but the disco uses an amplified film antenna on the rear side windows, and was long before DAB, so I dont think the amplifier will have the bandwidth

Done. Was plug and play with the incartec adaptor. Ran the microphone and DAB antenna up the A pillars. Its superb

Its panel sound deadening time before the subwoofer unscrews the spare wheel nuts

Iv used the aluminium flash banding and that’s good stuff

Thanks, I have used that in the past but its like trying to use gaffer tape on steroids when trying to cut it and get it in through the holes in a door card.

Soften it up with a hair dryer, works a treat and smaller strips / sections

Did the tailgate door subs with the ebay stuff. The original landrover subs had rotted their foam surrounds so Id replaced tem a while ago with some sony units off ebay.

Im going to do the front doors with the bituminous flashing though as they need some proper damping. The door cards more or less remove themselves with all tge buggering about with theyve had over the years with window mech replacement etc
