Yes thanks for thatYou can't on the Crystal, it uses 2x CR2032 batteries. The Panoramaxx range are all rechargeable. Hopefully that will stop you searching for the USB port

Im assuming everyone knows by now that the Panoramaxx is now available with the Crystal 2.0 lenses right? The Panoramaxx is a nice helmet but I wasn't so keen on the green tint lens compared to the blue/grey on the E684 I had previously. Both were very clear and excellent lids and I preferred the Panoramaxx style but the E684 tint.
The Crystal is in another league. I never thought that would be possible as the other Optrels were excellent but the difference is amazing.
I believe you can now get the Panoramaxx with the Crystal technology which is probably my ideal lid but as I have two Crystals I can't see me getting one soon.
Regarding the Isofix, it is ok but for me nothing special. My head shape is such that the standard head band fits well and is very comfortable so the Isofix wasn't much of a benefit to me so I have gone back to the standard head band. Some people didn't like the standard so for them the Isofix would probably be an advantage.

That's just shocking though. (Family friendly language used)Well, it is just a year old, but after speaking with Andreas at Optrel and then again to the distributor it turns out Optrel were unaware of any issue and suddenly the lid is being repaired today! I really hate having to go past the distributor/importer but if that's what it takes, then that's what it is!

Just bad service from whoever held up this process.
Sorry about the thread necrophilia guys but I just need to vent. My Panoramaxx with Crystal 2.0 lens went back to the distributor two weeks ago as it failed to react anymore. So far I have heard nothing from Optrel and despite the distributor (who have been very patient) contacting Optrel on several occassions - Nothing. There was a thread on here by an American member who said he had been left with a broken Optrel helmet and no warranty or support and I dismissed this, after my experience with Optrel (twice now) I can believe him, Paying for a premium product and receiving Chinese ebay seller levels of support is just not on. I am very sorry now I sold my ESAB Sentinel and I would never recommend an Optrel Product again.
I am just thankful I bought an ESAB E40 as a backup or I would be stuffed.
