How easy do the diopters fit in the helmet.......do they clip in nicely or do you have to sort of bodge them on with tape?

I used double sided tape, trimmed the outside of the diopter so it fitted flat to the inner glass lens and fitted a protector lens on top. If I'm happy with it I might make a retaining clip. It's one of these.

I fitted a replacement headband from an Esab helmet into my Speedglas. Much improved and nicer to use. Bought it from Ebay.It was around £8-50p made from orange plastic material.

I bought a 1.5 based on a cheap pair of reading glasses I have been trying.

i will order a No2 and see how i go, but at £5 odd per lens i can always go up or down depending on how i get on with them. cheers guys.
