That is very true, shame they dropped the E670 in that respect. 9-13 with auto would have been perfect. E684 is a cracking lid, just a bit overkill IMHO for just MIG & MMA.

The clarification is 1/1/1/1 on e684 vs 1/1/1/2 on the vegaview.... Some kind of HD display on the e684 supposedly too so expect to get better view.

Just waiting for my fully loaded e684, found a company in Ireland that does it at an extremely good price.

Vegaview is 8-12 shade, where the E684 is 5-13. You'll pay a fair few £'s more for the E684, but it's the best all rounder in that immediate price range.

Am new to TIG welding, am I likely to need anything lighter than shade 8?
