Don't get Bizweld ones. Most of the poppers on mine broke on the first day of use and it quickly developed more holes than a leaky cliche!

Pioner all the way when it comes to overalls,Nexus and Dickies are crap!!.
If you are doing a fair amount of welding then spend the money,if not get used to burns and replacements on a regular basis...

I got a pair of bright orange fire retardant overalls from a neighbour and they have been good apart from looking like I escaped from Guantanamo Battery acid doesn't do them any good though, I can't put anything in what's left of the pocket now. I got what look like a pair of REME overalls from Anchor supplies for when they finally give up the ghost and they are really heavy duty compared to the old ones.

X2 for Pioner rig master boilersuits,very hard wearing but don't really like being set on fire.Very handy with zipped top pockets.

I find the thing that kills my overalls is handling sharp-edged materials - sheared plate, sheet etc. Lots of small cuts that get snagged on something and rip.
Usually a good few holes where i have been on fire from time to time

Pioneer are good, Dickies ok, cheaper ones; useless

See if you can find ex german army tank suits, flame retardant, very hard wearing and they have a shoulder holster so you can always pack a rod in the work place. Oh and they look good as they get grottier.

But are as HOT as HADES Chunko...... personally I prefer to wear FP dust coats....light, don't get as hot as in ovies, more room to move....

You learned to be a good dancer as well then Paul.... all we wore was our ovies and skivvies in tanker engine room, learned to dance pretty well when doing pipework .
