theres qualified welding inspectors but it doesn't mean they can weld anything

The main part of this thread is to make sure people buy,and use safe equipment.Would you use equipment that is out of date and dangerous.

my equipment is over 40 years old apart from the new hoses I put on last week. I check it regular by filling the hoses turn the bottles off and slacken the regs . that creates back pressure and sets the arestors off . re tighten the regs re set the arestors check for leaks then all is fine. theres nothing dangerous about it

That`s brilliant.If more people were as dedicated to making sure their equipment was kept in as "usable" condition as yours,then there would be less accidents, maybe?
