Much love for oxy-propane on my part. I use both OA and OP.

Propane will braze. This fellow made a great thread, with pics, on the subject.

Note his use of an oxygen concentrator.

Propane will braze metals and gas cut steel all day.All you need is a cutting torch and welding torch,hoses,regulators and flashback arrestor .Youll need to find an oxygen bottle rent free or rental,you use more oxygen when cutting over what you use if its heating/ or brazing..propane is easy to get.

Thanks guys. Oxygen is not a problem, I already have more than I can shake a stick at, the same goes for the propane!!

So I just need the torches and some practice!!

Just to say I got a torch and hoses etc from Jordan1 here on the forum and am delighted. Started to practice and seem to be doing some nice brazing with it. I am using O2 and propane and a number 5 welding nozzle on the Saffire 5 torch. My dad also gave me a number 2 and number 7 nozzle and a cutting head which was a bonus.

Now just after a heating head with the propane mixing chamber and I will be sorted!
