A BOC W is around 50 litre regardless of what's in it although they don't work in 'water volume' like the rent free suppliers instead quoting dimensions, weights etc. Exact cylinder dimensions are here... http://www.boconline.co.uk/en/sheq/gas-safety/cylinder-weights-sizes/index.html You need to select a specific flavour of gas to get fill volumes as the size of the molecule effects things slightly but basically a W contains about 11 cubic metres of gas

Given what the forum achieved (thanks in a large part to Premiershipman / Shady) on the back of the Volkszone offer i'd suggest that anyone who uses enough oxyfuel to make rent free expensive gets in touch with BOC and enquire about a similar deal for a flamepak 50 (Y oxygen, J acetylene).
I forget the exact number of cylinders involved as i did the maths ages ago but with the forum offer a size Y is actually better value than a W until you're getting through lots of Ws per year. Currently only applies to argoshield light and pureshield argon but if enough people enquire about a similar deal for flamepaks who knows...
Rent free gas prices tend to vary by location so what others pay can be of zero relevance, need to find and ask your local agent.

We use the Dragon range from Tanasio Industrial Gases. There 10L is filled at 200 bar and is £36 rent free or you can rent the cylinder at £3.00 per month plus vat and the gas price is then only £12.00. The rental is in arrears so you only pay for the rental while you have the cylinder

BOC bar coding ruined it for me, just rent a bottle from them now, hobby weld is too dear for me, I get my oxy, Argosheild and puresheild from BOC
