My old garage doors had a rimlatch type lock on the outside, I would quite often find fresh toolmarks on it and the visible tongue, well they weren't to know there were 3 padlocked steel bars across the inside
Through the open window round the backSo how did you get in then??
NO NO NO dont buy,
So how did you get in then??
5 lever mortice lock for starters. So how was the pedestrian door made thief proof then!!
For some people the mot is the only time work is done on there vehicles. I know were talking about a small minority here but how many of us put a job off due to lack of funds or time.
ok yes i can under stand why people say change the padlock and i can understand that, but as some that dealing with £10 padlocks at home and £150 padlocks at work theres not much difference once its shrouded as they cant get to it. my £150 work ones will take a massive beating on it but if they cant get to it to beat does it really need the bigger lock?
bet u cant do it with my Ingersoll security lock. u cant even get spare keys cut with out the security number and paperwork of ownership . I cant even get any cutim sure there is a differance in a £10 lock and a £150 lock but buy how much prob the companys/people buy them think thay are much better beacuse of the price
remember the original d lock they showed a bloke trying to hammer it drill it out took ages
i can get them open in 2 mins get a bic pen remove all the insides melt the non writing end and put in the lock wait a few mins for it to harden and turn it pops open

Chubb assa abloy. Use them on the kennel and more. Brilliant locks that don't fail in nasty conditions. A mate works for them trouble shooting across the country. Will be in Devon one day Scotland the next if one of thier locks has trouble.Sounds similar to the lock we had on the armoury at the gun club, one of these beasts
Am I allowed a 1 Oz solid slug from a 12 bore at point blank?these are the older ones 20 years ago the one with the round hole
from memery they challanged any one to remove the lock in x amount of time and they will pay x price a sizeable amount of money to remove thats why they changed to a standard key type lock
Cheers folks, input appreciated. Yep the back of the door is going to get beefed up beyond washers!
That gap's about 2 inches wide. Reduce it more?[/QUO have a look at the padlock boxes on most shipping containers.
