I sprayed some glasurit primer the other day and mixed it to the spec and it was way too think loads of peel even with a 1.7 needle. I thinned it until it felt thin enough with the stirer and it sprayed really nicely. It's also passed it's use by date so I think that can make it a bit thicker as well as the cold.
