Yes too support different thicknessesSorry to drag this off course a little but is the square block spun for different thicknesses? I am guessing thats the case. The only ones I have seen have the vice.
remind me Monday and I will measure mine up for you.Bit of a thread hijack, so hope you don't mind.
I went to measure mine and after looking and looking I finally remembered it didn't come with the block so if someone could provide the offset for the hole it would be much appreciated. I can tell you the hole in this one is 7/8.
I bought mine as a project on here

It wasn't much cash and it was more of an experiment to see if I could fix it with tig brazing and more importantly, if tig brazing would be strong enough.
I would normally gas braze this type of repair, but was curious if tig would work.
It broke at the weakest spot but it was probably horribly abused.

It looked like it had been arc welded at sometime but that had failed as well.

I got a piece cast iron from @Pete. and cut it roughly to shape. Then made a generous X prep to limit the amount of braze required and to try and limit distortion.

I use aluminium bronze rods and first preheated the part in an oven to 250 C and brazed the top. So far so straight forward, but when I went to braze the underside my 26 series torch would not fit, so play was stopped until I sorted a smaller torch.
Fast forward 6 months and I finally got my tig cooler jerry rigged enough to run my CK 20.

It's still very much a work in progress (the 140mm fan I bought didn't work so I had to make do with this 100mm one)
Anyway, I put it back into the oven for preheat and give it another go.

It's still very tight and I'm sure there's a fair bit of tungsten in the braze, but we can't all be @Cheesie

After brazing, I put it back in the oven to get the heat back into it and then turned the oven off and let it cool slowly.
If it's still in one piece in the morning it will be a bonus.
