just thought I'd put up some progress I've made on a replacement part for @mgarym

I've turned down a test piece to get the thread correct to fit the new part supplied by Gary.
Next I will turn the full part. I then need to put a keyway in the thread and a slot in the head.
Unfortunately I am still waiting on a replacement VFD for my mill so I can't finish the part until I receive that.

VFD is a variable frequency drive, it drives the 3 phase spindle motor on my Bridgeport.

The collet chuck was finished a while back.
What you are seeing it the Burnard multi chuck and full collet set I picked up for £150

My lathe is L0 but I bought the chuck without knowing if it was 0 or 00.
Guess what my plan was if it turned out to be L00?

I thought your lathe was a D1 Camlock fitting?

Lol. TBF I've been keeping an eye open for an affordable set for about 3 years. I ended up driving to Newbury to meet the seller.
Well worth it though when a single new collet is over £120 each.
