Already tried that, Langy gave me that advice a while ago. Didnt help but thanks anyway.

If it's a cheap carbon track pot it may not go down to zero, just depends where the wiper stops or it could do with turning slightly.
All the foot pedals I have seen are basic voltage divider circuits and I made mine on that principle (TecArc 166i), one pot hand turn for max amps and the other on the pedal for foot control. Put a micro switch in as well which just replaces the switch on the torch - NO/NC contacts two wires to a plug - but to be honest I use the switch on the torch in conjunction with the pedal. Pot size doesn't matter so much and the wiring on mine is Vin, Vout, 0v. If you open the set up you will probably be able to trace the circuits to the control pots for the pin outs for the plug/plugs, I did it like that for mine.

14K ohm is a odd value - they are usually 1k, 5k, 10k, 20k, 50k etc..... To measure the resistances you could turn the current limiter pot all the way so that the wiper shorts out contacts 1 & 2 - if you measure the resistance across pins 5 & 4 this will give you the resistance of the foot control pot.
To measure the current limiter pot just measure the resistance between pins 3 & 5.

At max current pos 14,5 k ohm

Max pos 14,5 k ohm
Min pos 20,4 k ohm
Looking at the circuit I see they are measured in paralell when reading 14,5. That should give roughly 50 k ohm for the foot pot, right?
Looking at the markings the foot pot says B503 and the other B203

Wow. I little be too late, maybe but... I saw this thread only recently. I own a welder that I think is the same as Parweld or Longevity (photo below). Thinking here if this electric scheme and values of the pots would be the same as well.
The pins on the connector seem to be exactly the same as well.

I agree with you reg Parwelds customer services ... Absolutly shocking! .. I had a brand new 202 called cust services they said we will get back to you today we promise, next day still no reply so I called again just to be told exactly the same again.. they never did get back to me..

I mean, that screen/control panel looks exactly like my XTT202p, other than the colour and script language.
Thanks to @AndersK for the circuit information, between This Old Tony's homemade pedal video and your info, should be able to knock up something halfway competent.
