I’ve pulled the bearing out, I assumed it would be two standard bearings and seals but no! Otherwise I’d just rebuild itI thought the belt cover was about the same on them all?
I can give you the bearing size.
I fitted a late model Maestro diesel to my LDV van. Easy conversion. Had to change sump and a few other parts but can't remember touching timing coverI believe the timing chest is different, possibly disparity between pump lengths?
Standard car water pump bearings are built into the shaft, so shaft and bearings come as a unit. At one time they were all the same OD, shaft diameter and length. Pump seals came in a couple of different sizes. They were always difficult to get hold of as there was a bigger mark up on selling new pumps. Don't know if this is still the case, or if BL were using the standard bearings and seals in the 80s and 90s.I’ve pulled the bearing out, I assumed it would be two standard bearings and seals but no! Yep finding that one out to my misery! I did find a Perkins rebuild kit on eBay that looked very much similar but can’t for the life of me find it againStandard car water pump bearings are built into the shaft, so shaft and bearings come as a unit. Excellent, I’ll get the bearing number when I’m back in work on Monday too @Blobber
Bob, your collection disgusts me slightly, primarily because I don’t own any of it, but I am in awe of the levels of random crap you posses! Pm incoming
