I’ve seen several over the eons, which simply can’t be translated into anything meaningful. Some have trimmed letters, multiple mounting screws in oddball places, but without being told nobody has a clue what they say.Pretty sure I saw one on a car that looked like it said BISEXUAL if you squinted, might have just been me tho
I see a car around my way with the number S ESSEX S
Can’t work out which letters are 5’s and which are S’s, but I’m guessing someone’s name is Essex.

I can recall all my father's cars from 1956 to 1965, but not the ones he owned after I left home. I can recall my first 3 from the early '70's but not thereafter.
My first real motorcycle, Honda CB250: PUX54M No mention of tax or MOT since 1982.Let's see; first family telephone number, ERD 7800. first girlfriend's father's car when I was 11 - BGN 449B, remember her name too. First father's new (company) car LUT 921F. My first car 666 JAC (that would be worth some money). As to what I did last week however... I think the brain is a LIFO rather than FIFO device, which would explain it
Plenty of MIG plates available, a recent Co. Fermanagh, NI reg. There’s one available in DVLA’s next auction.
It’s ‘MIG 53’.
Might be suitable for someone here?
Funny that you say thatI can remember all of my dads cars, and most of the 70 odd vehicles that I have owned, except for the latest ones.
Which ties in neatly with the fact that old people can remember what happened years ago, but not what happened yesterday
I used to think they were naff but must admit I now quite like the idea of hiding the age of my car with a personal reg. I also like them on classics. The ones that are mis spaced or use black screw caps in a convoluted attempt to make an actual word bug me though.I did buy that from a dealer 25 or more years ago for £350.00, handy as we usually have tidy but older cars, stops her noticing how old her car actually is!
