£7 per flap disc for Pferd and a Reca equivalent is about £3. Reca discs last 85% of the time the Pferd discs do.
The rounded-edge Pferd flap discs are good. Bought some for a specific job ages ago. I don’t think there is another manufacturer that does them.

I had the wurth rep in and he was adamant that his discs are the best

I use the Wurth ceramic flap discs and they are the best I have used and amazingly they have dropped in price by quite a bit but so far the quality seems the same.
I used to be nearly £150 for 30 of them but the last order and the one I put in today they were £94 all in.

Those red ceramic flappers look very similar to the Wurth ones except the label. Wonder if they are made in the same place as likely Wurth don't make them.

These don't say where they are made as such, only mention of a location I can see is Wurth Germany.

Looking back at the vid again I see they are different, yours don't have the metal centre on the underside.

Looked at the 2000W 9”, 1700w 5” and the cordless die grinder. Although I’ll be buying the 110v version.

I got a DeWalt cordless die grinder today and so far it seems very nice. Put the 3" stainless wire brush in it and on slow speed with the trigger pulled about half way in and it didn't even seem to slow at all when I was cleaning the surface of some Alu. Time will tell how much I like it but so far I am happy with it.

This die grinder had a proper permanent switch which I far prefer to a deadman’s handle.

I am the opposite, quite a few times with the cheap Chines one I had, I wished it had a trigger instead of a switch

In some ways it’s probably a lot safer with brushes.

Until it grabs and you have to try and reach the switch. Maybe it is a better position than the Chinese one, it was right on the back end and awkward as hell to reach while you are trying to hold the bleeding thing from jumping around when snagged up

Same switch position as my Metabo, I think a non-locking switch would get on my nerves.

That looks sensible enough position unlike the Chinese one, it was right on the back where the cable went in.
