What are you buying to replace it? Did you ever get to run the spindle to see how the bearings got on?Will be saying bye to this on the weekend.
Being delivered to it's new owner on Sunday to make space for something a little bigger and yes the new one will fit, just need to make sure I don't put any weight on

Yeah, spindle was sorted and running fine, kept checking temps etc when 1st done and not had any problems since
Am a little limited on space, would love something Bridgeport size or thereabouts but they are all too big.
Am in negotiations over a Warco 4vs, it's more heavy duty than the VM-F, slightly bigger table and will just about fit in the space I have
