Yes, but the idea behind this is that the dross comes off quicker if chipped off rather than ground. Grinding is pretty slow and uses consumables. I do find the idea of Mr C's Perspex discs a bit unerving. The stuff is pretty fragile and shatters easily. One of those bomb suits the UXB guys use might be handy.....
I wasn't suggesting grinding, I was recomending a machine that is designed to have that sort of load applied to it. If a grinder could be slowed down or a polisher used, the same principal could be used either chunko's design used like a cutting disk or with the screws fastened in two or three rows in the face around the edge and used like a grinding disk, which in my opinion would be a lot easier to use than a drill with screws in the edge.
