does it only drip for a minute and stop most of them taps do

" I bought this item based on a 225mm width, the actual width is 215mm and that vital 10mm meant I couldn't fit the tap. Sorry manufacturer, but please measure an item before you post specs. "

" tap has started dripping within 1 year. clearly not good reliability. tap works but now i have to deal with customer and replace the tap under gurantee. really disaapointed. "

" Good no-frills tap. Make sure you flush the unit before fitting - on first use the tap washers were damaged by stray brass swarf, and I had to replace both washers (they dripped). "

Not worth the hassle buying cheap tabs...I always buy brand names like Grohe or HR. Taps are something you use every day and you can definitely tell the quality difference of a cheap tap.

yes check the seat where the washer seals also

I've had a Franke tap in my kitchen for over 10 years....in that time it's had 1 rubber O washer on the neck. I think they can be had for less/around £100...parts are always readily available for them unlike a lot of the unknown brands which are thrown together with factory leftovers and a load of spacers! When the unbranded stuff goes wrong nobody knows what's in them...not even the factory that made them I reckon!

...bought my last Franke from screw fix as it happens.

For kitchen I've stuck with franke...they come with the flexi hoses in the box so that saves a few quid too...I don't know if they do the double hole taps (mine are single hole)

yeah i need 180 centers ...although the kitchen unit isnt amazing so may replace and sink one day lol;

Had a look...seems they do them (180mm centres) so might be worth considering next time around.
