Not possible. The air is already plumbed in and claw connector and air lines won't be flexible enough for the situation. ⅜" bore is what is recommended by trelawny.

You could just try swapping the end of the hose and the fitting on the scaler to PCL XF - don't need to change anything else, they are cheap and should give you an easy boost in flow rate on your existing 3/8 line.

The blue ones shown on the sunbelt website are McDonald.

The ones we have on continuous hire are older CP/IR ones, they have a 3/8" whip and claw connectors to 1/2".

If he's using classic PCL fittings then that's the issue right there absolutely need an upgrade to XF at a minimum.

All the airflow in the world doesn't matter if the fittings are classic PCL - one of the smallest flowing fittings ever made! They're truly terrible. (despite most of my gear still being classic PCL as I'm too tight to swap it all over)

I really only use the standard ones on tyre inflators or blow guns. I think they are only about a 5mm bore.
Anything serious has XF fittings apart from all my spraying stuff which are on the old broomwade bayonet (now PCL Instantair) as they don't come undone as easily.
Come to think of it, even the broomwade ones are a larger bore.

A fitting upgrade really would be an easy win though, certainly worth trying first for the cost.

There's a huge difference on a tyre inflator going from standard to XF, and its even more noticable if you're blowing up tractor tyres
