I have never[well I have but not often] got a decent finish on my powder. I cook it in a domestic fan oven, maybe the fan is blowing some of the powder off. I keep meaning to rewire it and see if I can get it working without the fan. When I tried it initially I couldn't get it to heat up very quickly[it was taking 45 mins to get to 100ºC] that was with just the bottom elements; the fan element on it's own will raise the air in a matter of a minute or so and the part temp lags a couple of minutes.
