In my haste I didnt take any pictures before I extracted from the Kasenit, took some digging out. The part was nice and clean though, a little scotchbrite and it looks good. Drawing a file over confirms its now case hardened, not sure how deep, but for the use, I doubt it will cause any problems.
Got a bit more done, the original jackshaft and male dog was press fitted to machined friction clutch body, I machined up. The cone washers are from, Noleen rear suspension units, and the Spring from, a Risse Racing Genesis Air shock, [I for get the lbs], but I've a few to play with
Bit of a mockup, I had to add the thinner plate, as there wasnt enough space without turning the leadscrew down, for the clutch to fit, as it happens it worked out well; supporting the end of the lead screw via the socket.
