If the socket is threaded 1/4" perhaps and the copper is 6mm use a 1/4" male X 6mm compression adaptor.

there is no thread, the collar/adaptor is a push fit into the switch. i think your looking where the switch fits to the cylinder maybe ?.

This is where the copper pipe goes

Into the coller thing. And does not go any further as it can't.

The collar thing then push fits into the switch base.

there is a very small pin at the top of the collar. And a small hole to the side of the ttop reduced part.

Sod this for a faf

Mite aswell replace.it for one with a push fit.

Guess it's clarke crappy fittings. On this compressor.

I know I have used copper on push fit before. Its says for plastic pupe.
With my luck it won't be anygood on my copper pipe lol

As long as your copper is round, and unmarked it will be fine.

Condor themselves are quite helpful. Could ask them what you need, and will probably supply a fitting

i ordered a new one yesterday, was tempted to pop into machine mart for one but Condor are better quality for a couple quid more. and i hope thats it.

I will only buy genuine Condor switches. Its a vital component, and if the cut off fails to work, you have a problem. They are not that expensive compared to the knock off Chinese type. Its worth the extra few quid to me, just for peace on mind. In any case will last a lot longer ! Danfoss also used to do good ones, but I don't know if they still do.

I doubt that you'd find one on the shelf. My local MM, which is a good size, has to order parts in.
