It was £45 including vat if I remember correctly........any problems give me shout and I'll get it for you and send it to you.

I have to turn mine off with a screwdriver but I didn't want to replace it with cheap one. Well not quite true - I'd love to fiind the right part really cheap but failing that I'd rather pay £45 for a decent quality switch than fit a piece of junk. The existing one which is identical to the one you are fitting has lasted 19 years.

After geting mine from MM i think I would rather get the £45 one, I wired it direct to the motor and theres quite a arc when cutting off, decided to wire it through a contactor/overload to see if it will last longer.

Yeah Andy I made a mistake and bought a "toy" compressor before I got the Automan which when it arrived the manifold had sheared and the cover for the switch was also broken that's why I opted to go for the heavy duty one when I got the Automan (Atlas Copco).

As I say any problems in getting the switch from BRE just give me a shout via email: -

BRE are contracted to service our compressors at work and are literally 200yards over the road from us so it wouldn't be a problem
I'll try and give them a bell tomorrow see if I can get a better price seen as how this would be the second one eh LOL!!

Also, appologies to Andy for not getting the price of the switch yet.....it's been manic round here the last few days........will definately get it Monday for you Andy.......I should be on line about 6ish so watch this space

Andy the cost of the switch same as the one I fitted is £44 + vat.
