I think I'm just going to make them in 2 halves....much easier. Don't think they are symmetrical as the online suppliers sell them as sided.I'm going to start by just making a very think arch to get in some practice (1 inch maybe). If that works then I'll try something a little more ambitious....I should be able to use the practice efforts to patch the inner arch so they won't go to waste :-).
£199 for a pair of arches seems insane to me....especially when the panel is this simple! I think the front part of the wheel arch is the easier part....the rear has all sorts of funky curves in it. Could I just weld in a 1 inch repair arch with the flange and then patch up to it....or is that a stupid idea?
